Luminance Meters
Our cal-SPOT 401 is a calibrated, spot-measuring, brightness meter, designed for accuracy and ease of use.
Using a silicon photodiode with photopic filter, the cal-SPOT 401 has human-eye response, and can be used with both eyes open. The cal-SPOT 401 features:
- a one-degree measuring field
- a 12-degree viewing field
- a working distance of 8” to infinity
- the ability to measure luminance from 0.1 to 400,000 cdm/m2
Every cal-SPOT 401 is individually calibrated and comes with its own calibration certificate, certified to NIST/NRC standards.
